Olivia E. Clemens is a doctoral student in the Department of Art History and Archaeology, with a focus in Islamic art. Research interests include historiography and history of collecting, cross-cultural exchange, and courtly gifting practices. Before coming to Columbia she worked as a Research Assistant in LACMA's Art of the Middle East Department, and earned her BA in Art History from UCLA.
